Committee Member, Andrew Allsopp, has booked all events as the 2025 season comes to a close. The kitty is looking very healthy & monthly subscriptions will continue & support offsetting the ever increasing green fees.
2026 is our 30th Season with April 2027, our 30th Anniversary! We are planning a 2027 trip of the ages - Look out for further details.....

Another exciting season, but this year Trevor retains the OOM Title with a just under 2% difference, which is quite a gap. His consistent form as seen his name on the leader board in most events.

MARK & PHIL 2025 showdown....
What we could predict, was a close match & it certainly lived up to the hype. Phil was in a determined mood, taking the Nick Faldo approach of keeping his head down & focusing on the game in hand, knowing that previous encounters with Mark, he couldn't afford to have a bad game. Mark was assured but knew that it was going to be tough.
Phil took an early lead, as the match ebbed & flowed in the true spirit of Matchplay. Phil has at least a 1 hole advantage & only ever increasing it to 2. Mark had 3 strong opportunities to square the match but didn't take them & this rattled his confidence. The breaking point was the long Par 4 14th, ranked the hardest, Phil knEw he needed at least a Par & with his trusty 5 & 7 woods, was just short of the green & a chip & putt, Mark lost ground & the 2 holes later Phil took the title 3 & 2!
