PRESIDENTS CUP 2024
TEAM SEVE win CUP!
The 2nd year of the reformatted Presidents Cup see's Team Seve defend their 2023 win in another closely fought series of matches.
Team Seve seemed in control on most sessions but Team Hogan chipped away, even securing 4.5 points in the last 5 matches, but Alan's team had done enough!
Ian Hall struck a wonderful shot to 10 foot on the 18th, & in the last match, after James Tunstall secured the cup 4 matches earlier, with the 11 point marker hit to retain the cup, if the series was halved! Ian 3 putted to halve his match, but this was enough.
Once again, Puckrup is the sacred home of the Presidents Cup & Team Hogan have much to do turning the tide. We were sorry to see Karl Harris, Jim Phelan & Matt Hopkinson miss this years event & hopefully we see them next year.
Once again, Phil stepped up to face 2 opponents in the Monday Singles & held his own in 2 very close matches vs James Tunstall & Adrian Heath.

Andrew Allsopp wins the 2024 title, securing a roll over of 7 collective holes, closing out Paul Wilson, Trevor Anderson & Alan Dennis.
FOURBALL CHAMPIONSHIP
Phil Wing & Jim Phelan will face Karl Harris & Alan Dennis in this year's final. With both Jim & Karl out with injury, both Phil & Alan have managed to scrape their way through by beating other pairs whose average stableford scores combined have been lower!
